Course Update – March 17, 2026
As many of you have noticed, this past winter brought relatively mild conditions, allowing our turf to remain uncovered for longer than ever before in the history of the golf course. With the absence of damaging low temperatures, this extended exposure has given us a unique and encouraging head start as we transition into the growing season.
Heading into last week, turf conditions were already showing very positive signs, with healthy color and strong early-season development across the course. We were excited to begin focusing our efforts on course conditioning and preparing for the season ahead.
While the recent snowfall may have briefly paused that momentum, the outlook remains very promising. Current conditions suggest that the snow will melt quickly, with little to no lasting impact on turf health. In fact, the moisture may provide a beneficial boost as we move forward, and we do not anticipate any significant disease pressure as a result.
Overall, we are in a strong position for the upcoming season and look forward to continuing to build on this early progress to deliver excellent playing conditions for everyone to enjoy.
