  6. Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions
  7. Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary
  8. Serves meal; places dishes by courses in front of each person
  9. Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes water and butter as necessary
  10. Removes soiled dishes
  11. Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks
  12. Verifies accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, service fees and other charges on all guest checks
  13. Presents the guest check – when required
  14. Handles all credit card charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures

Job Summary

Attendants are to ensure the highest level of personal service is provided to the members/guests of Iron Horse Golf Club in a gracious and professional manner. Includes set up, service and breakdown of bar, breakfast/coffee service, washroom, wet areas, fitness room and locker room while maintaining the highest standard of presentation and cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Complete locker room and fitness area opening set-up checklist
  2. Restock supplies in fitness area, wet area and lounge room as needed.
  3. Assist with maintaining schedule for all massages.
  4. Ensure safety and security of all members’ and guests’ and their personal property.
  5. Maintain inventory for all supplies.
  6. Perform personal services for member/guest golf and dress shoes.
  7. Assist with dry cleaning and laundry services for members.
  8. Provide lockers, towels, robes, etc., to members and guests as needed.
  9. Beverage delivery out to golf course as requested.
  10. Keep men’s locker room and fitness center neat and clean including bar and refrigerator, coffee service, tables, chairs, serving tables, carpets and fitness equipment.
  11. Wash all dishes and bar ware as necessary.
  12. Breakdown breakfast service and set-up soup service at scheduled time.
  13. Empty trash as necessary
  14. Record all sales for food, beverages, personnel trainers, massages, dry cleaning etc., in the Jonas POS system.
  15. Continuously straighten, pickup, and restock washroom/wet area and fitness area.
  16. Check steam room and hot tub for proper operation as scheduled.
  17. Take and deliver phone messages, facsimiles, and mail for members and guests.
  18. Transport used towels upstairs to laundry pick-up area and restock towels as necessary.
  19. Fold wash cloths as needed.
  20. Answer incoming calls and questions regarding all aspects of the Iron Horse Club and facilities.
  21. Complete closing locker room and fitness area closing check list at end of day
  22. Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
  23. Contact facility maintenance for mechanical or repair problems.
  24. Contact appropriate management team member(s) in case of emergency.
