Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years previous bartending experience in a full-service bar setting

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
  2. Requests additional supplies as necessary or orders supplies
  3. Follows set-up procedures
  4. Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks
  5. Greets members and guests
  6. Learn to identify members by name; identify non-members for security reasons
  7. Mixes, prepares and serves drinks, serve meals at the bar if necessary
  8. Run chits on bar tickets and run credit cards if necessary
  9. Reports complaints to Food & Beverage Manager as soon as they occur
  10. Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
  11. Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times
  12. Cleans and lock-ups according to prescribed procedures
  13. Attends staff meetings as required

8. Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary
9. Serves meal; places dishes by courses in front of each person
10. Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes water and other beverages as necessary
